It is recommended that we inspect all fascia/barge boards as well as the timber beneath, namely the 38×38. Any timber that is badly damaged or rotting due to exposure, needs to be removed. Rotting timber often causes fascia/ barge boards to pull loose. These then often fall off.

The new timber is then cut to size and treated with a creosote to prevent future water damage.

The new timber is then anchored into place. Any fascias/barge boards that need to replacing will then finally be attached. We use 90 degree fibre cement barge boards.

The gutter shown here is beyond repair and requires replacing.

The gutter is then mounted in place. All new galvanized gutters are treated with a product called galviclean. This product removes any excess oil from galvanized products.

The gutter is the finally primed and coated.
